A Thousand Different Ways to Celebrate
We are pleased to announce another Clay Nation Block Party, even bigger and better than the first!!!! With just about a month to go before the release of Clay's A Thousand Different Ways, it's time to ratchet up our celebration of the upcoming CD and the accompanying Release Parties. Since the March Clay Nation Block Party was such a resounding success, we decided to do it again, with the participation of as many Clay fan boards as are interested. You get to party across Clay Nation once again! We're opening up our boards, featuring all kinds of games and retrospective events, and above all, drawing people's attentions to upcoming CD Release Parties as we prepare for this much-anticipated release! Members of the Clay Nation are all invited to join in the festivities as we gear up for the 19 September release of Clay's A Thousand Different Ways, and the CD release parties on 18-19 September that will mark its debut! What can you expect this weekend? "A Thousand Different Ways to Celebrate"! There will be all kinds of fun and games, including retrospective looks at the many amazing moments we've enjoyed as Clay fans over the past 3 years, photographic and video exhibits that focus on the pretty and the HAWT that is Clay Aiken (and, of course, his voice ;-) ), as well as information sessions on what's up with your local CD Release Party and how you can sign up for release date fun with your fellow Clay fans. The Block Party will run for the FULL weekend, 19-20 August!! In sum... What: A Thousand Different Ways to Celebrate: Clay Nation Block Party!! When: This weekend, 19-20 August 2006! Where: Across the Clay Nation boards. Who: All Clay Aiken fans, including YOU!! Open Houses will be held at many boards beginning at Noon EST, including The Clackhouse, Clayversity, The Official CD Release Party Planning Board, The Clayboard, and many others! It's your party, Clay Nation! So come and let's celebrate! I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity. -- Gilda Radner |

NYC AND METRO AREA FANS.... BLOCK PARTIERS...check out NYC
OK...here's the situation. There's a Claynation block party this weekend and I want all my NY'ers to head over to the planning site and see what going on.. We are ready to make our announcement on MONDAY...so let me explain!!!Alot of people are hlding out on us. Maybe you think Clay may come to NY for the release and do GMA or another show. I get that. However...you have made it impossible for me to give you a HUGE party in a big place with no one signing in! I have an AWESOME venue and no one will be disappointed, but it's not going to hold 350 people...not at this late date with everyone holding back for the best place to be. LOL (I think like you guys too, but it's too late in the game now.) I NEED YOU TO SIGN UP!! Our announcement comes Monday only because you are holding out on us and I need your committments!! PLEASE do not miss this party. It will be great...I promise! NY is a special place. WE can't do it big enough! However, it will always be the most exciting place to be on party night...no doubt about it!!! Come on block party people...I'm waiting for you! www.clayaikencdparties.com/ |

Make love not war - yay!
I'm all about surrendering. I surrendered long ago. How can I fight against a man who has such tender, innocent eyes. ![]() And such very nice thighs... ![]() Certainly resistance is futile when faced with this: ![]() and now that Clay has changed his hair I feel strangely helpless. ![]() (credit to the wonderful Brandilyne) ETA: Just had to add this one, made by cindilu2 at the Clackhouse - once it loads it's so cool. Hope I'm not overloading the page too much. You can smack me if you want. ![]() Very belated birthday greetings to Faithwriter! I hope you had a great birthday - sorry I'm late to the party. Laynie, I'm sorry to hear about the problems you've been having. I hope the doctors find out what's wrong very soon. I'm sure it's probably something simple. Dixie - thanks for the story about the lady in the PO. It's always good to hear stories like this. There seem to be more and more of them these days. I hope that's a good sign for the album. You know I don't think it's "just us" that miss Clay either. Glad for the Walmart Soundcheck news too. That should be great for sales. Thanks for all the news QM, you're doing a sterling job. ![]() Here You Come Again Looking better than a body has a right to ![]() |

I love those pictures, Sylvie. He has such beautiful eyes. I have that looking up one but not that big. Thanks. I love this from ClayPerfect at the CB. I sent this mp3 to a friend this afternoon.. musical directory of the state university. and this is what he said.. Quote:Jeanene, I have to say after hearing this over and over, this voice is spectacular it is the best we have ever heard. He hits every single note to perfection. There is no drag, no hesitation, no dropped notes and his melisma is absolute perfection. Now knowing you I have to ask is it Clay Aiken. If it is and I think it is, he is one to be reckoned with in the music industry. eta to add CB quote I am off to play at the block party. |

Make love, not war....now there's an order I'd be happy to carry out...again and again and again and again...
*laughs at QM's hair song* Those animations are beautiful, Sylvie. Thanks for bringing them over. Laynie Quote: MSi, thanks for posting that. I love hearing stuff like that and it gets me all excited for the new CD and anxious. I hope it sells even better than MOAM. I have a funny feeling that it will. The wave is coming. Get your scuba gear ready everyone! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Make Love, Not War, huh?...hee hee...well, if you insist.
I'll keep it in a safe place just in case I need it again. But honestly, I think it's gonna be collecting lots and lots of dust. Laynie... And Sylvie...thanks for those pics...thighs, thighs, thighs. QM...I second what Sylvie said. No matter how busy you are in RL, you always keep us informed and it's very appreciated. And MSi... Quote: ...just WOW!! Thank you for bringing that over. ![]() I believe that in every life there is a song to be sung. Go. Find your voice. Then open up your mouth and set your song free...Clay Aiken-LTS |

*snugs MSi* Thank you.Now I just have to figure out where to put him.
*snugs Laynie* Feel better! Quote: Yes, yes! *empathic nod* The CD goes in before anything. Quote: *picks up CbA's cue* In sleep he sang to me, In dreams he came... That voice which calls to me, and... Oops."speaks my name" is wishful thinking, but two out of three isn't too bad. Not Just Us? I've been slowly but surely influencing my collection. First Treger, next Kellie. Now Laliman. Lali: hahaha ooohhh no WMS Aurry: I should inflict some serious WMS on you Lali: hahahaha too funny Aurry: I take it you haven't seen WDC, LLVL or GBOF? *supplies links every which way* Lali: sweet mary you are full of clay Aurry: *trying not to read that wrong* *snort* Just you wait. I reckon when she finally gets around to hearing him, she'll be the one *ahem* full of clay. The way the metaphors have been flying around lately...did I accidentally take a wrong turn onto the Purple Pages?*checks to be sure the upholstery isn't purple* Happy B'lated Birthday, Faith! Quote: *giggle* *gasp* Can't you just see the traffic police stopping him to just gape at his license? ETA: Ooooh! I made the first page! |

Ok, since it appears the Punisher has won the war, I have a question...the negotiated terms of surrender will include our retaining our right to inspect his arsenal, right?

Morning troops..hope everyone has been making lots of love and not war.
Dixie Quote: *gives last rites to Gwyn's old computer* Quote: I just read the article you posted in the CD Discussion thread, QM. Frankly, I'm surprised, considering what a bunch of vultures the media can be, that this is the first negative article I've really noticed since the track list came out.
