With just about a month to go before the release of Clay's A Thousand Different Ways, it's time to ratchet up our celebration of the upcoming CD and the accompanying Release Parties. Since the March Clay Nation Block Party was such a resounding success, we decided to do it again, with the participation of as many Clay fan boards as are interested. You get to party across Clay Nation once again! We're opening up our boards, featuring all kinds of games and retrospective events, and above all, drawing people's attentions to upcoming CD Release Parties as we prepare for this much-anticipated release! Members of the Clay Nation are all invited to join in the festivities as we gear up for the 19 September release of Clay's A Thousand Different Ways, and the CD release parties on 18-19 September that will mark its debut! What can you expect this weekend? "A Thousand Different Ways to Celebrate"! There will be all kinds of fun and games, including retrospective looks at the many amazing moments we've enjoyed as Clay fans over the past 3 years, photographic and video exhibits that focus on the pretty and the HAWT that is Clay Aiken (and, of course, his voice ;-) ), as well as information sessions on what's up with your local CD Release Party and how you can sign up for release date fun with your fellow Clay fans. The Block Party will run for the FULL weekend, 19-20 August! Interested in helping out? Just PM an admin -- with all that will be going on this weekend, your contributions will be much appreciated! As far as WY goes...I was meh and eh and whatever about the song...and I still am. But Clay at least made me like it and be able to tolerate listening to it. Did it blow my skirt up? (hee hee)...no. But, did I just love the build up to the wailing and then the actual wailing? Heck yeah! I just figure some of the songs I'll love so much I'll want to put them on repeat, some I'll like well enough and some I may even end up skipping once I've listened to the album enough times...shhh...don't tell anyone about that last part. It's like when I got MOAM in my hot little hands. Once I played it through a couple of times, I could not stop playing Perfect Day I must have had that one song on repeat I don't know how many times. I believe that in every life there is a song to be sung. Go. Find your voice. Then open up your mouth and set your song free...Clay Aiken-LTS

Weighing in on Without You...a few more opinions: I shared the link to Clay's myspace with the women who post on a non-Clay message board with me. We met by posting about our pets, but the friendships have progressed over the years, and we also we post about our selves, as well. Kind of like our 'canteen' thread. They know of my 'fondness'' for the Punisher. They loved him on AI, but haven't followed his career the way we do. They will ask me occasionally what is going on with him and what he's been up to. I told them about his new CD primarily cover songs, with 4 new songs, and that it is due to be released in Sept. I told them they could get a preview of one of the songs Clay will be singing on the new CD. Here are the responses from four of the six women on our board who saw my post and listened to his interpretation of WY. *Quote:* WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
