Maybe it was just because of the area I live in or because there weren't many other releases with the Soundcheck feature, but when Rascal Flatts released "Life is a Highway" for the Cars movie soundtrack, I heard it a gazillion times each time I went in the store. Funny as she tried to be with the self righteous indignation bit, I would bet a bundle if Clay actually surprised both the women in the room, they would be reduced to smiling, flirting sweeties.. really, no kidding. .... A soundcheck feature for Clay I wasn't aware of what they were, but now that I know what it entails, nice promotion!~ Checks yellow pages for Walmart stores in my area...nothing in Center City, Philly? OK. road trip... I was not anxious about having to have an MRI today but am very anxious to find out what has been causing pain in my left leg for almost three years now. Aspirin, Motrin, Alleve, over the counter, or prescribed meds, you name it, I tried it....nothing helps. It is chronic, a daily pain, not excruciating, but severe enough to cause me to have endured ....x-rays, acupuncture, chiropractic sessions, cortisone shots and visits to two specialists who are convinced it is bursitis. I don't agree, because if I sit down, the pain stops. The third specialist, who I saw last week, thinks it is a pinched nerve (as do I) and prescribed the MRI. Anyway, there is a Clay connection....read on....So, after much anticipation, and trepidation about spending an hour in a tube up to my chest, with my head out, and a huge machine inches away from my face with loud constant banging going on all around me, I headed over to the hospital. Oh, they mentioned I could bring a CD with me Previously, Mr. Tug burned me a CD of the JBT, the 50's, 60's the Elvis Medley...with additional selected tracks, Alone, Iris, BFM, TRD, among others. So, I grabbed that puppy and made sure it was in my purse, even before the insurance card went in. Then, off I went to the hospital. The MRI, pfft, piece of cake. I imagine having headphones on and hearing the Punisher's beautiful voice singing to me just may have had something to do with it. In fact, after about an hour when the attendant came in to tell me it was finished, I almost asked him if he would mind leaving me in there a few more minutes so I could listen to the rest of the tracks. I am glad you guys liked hearing about the comments to Clay's song I brought over. I know they will buy it when it's available. In fact, one of the woman told me she will probably pick up two of them... one for home and one for her car. I told her that was a good idea Happy Birthday to MommaNYC . I can't wait till I get to see you and your lovely daughter again during one of the upcoming tour venues.

WY -- his voice sounds incredible. I liked Harry's, never heard Mariah's, but I always found Harry's very moving. And once Clay lets out that first wail, I was definitely moved. (takes off health care professional hat) NJU (not just us) story: Went to the PO to mail a book to a Broad friend today...wrapped it in purple duct tape (well, it was left over from the JBT cuz I never got to kidnap the Punisher like we'd planned, darn it) and stuck a cute AI5 return addy label I made on it. The lady at the PO recognized him & squealed about what a great voice he had and what a nice person he seemed to be, and whatever happened to that other guy, cause didn't Clay 'lose'? (and yes, she did the quotation-mark fingers in the air when she said it ) She was excited to hear about the new album coming & said she'd have to get one for her & one for a friend who also likes him. So add 2 more to the running total. 1 year ago right this minute I was at the Indy JBT with the Broad Mum! I guess it's because I don't have much free time in my RL at the moment. I just want to make sure everyone sees some of this stuff.
