I like the OFC just fine. People are people and they are entitled to have and express their opinions - even if they are, by someone else's measure, harsh. I have no problem reading through what people think. Apparently, neither does Clay, as he has set the moderating rules in place and minimal changes in that rule base have changed. I guess I have a thick skin or something because I can't imagine a message board being depressing. It's just thoughts. I don't have to agree with them to find them interesting. Not to say I don't roll my eyes at some of those thoughts, but they surely don't depress me. Seriously, some people like a debate and a squabble as much as a joke or a laugh. Makes the world go 'round.
I am just as easy about MY fandom as I am about Clay I suppose. I don't care if he blogs... well, I do care. I'd like it if he did. But I'm not reading my OFC contract to see if he's fulfilling his stated obligations or anything. Logically, it's true. His Fan Club is a business that I paid money for, but I'm not a tough consumer. Irritates people sometimes, but that's just the way I am. Can't be bothered to get my dander up over it.
Now, THE fandom... that's a different story. I think we're all nuts, with a few individuals leading the pack by a long haul.
Hee. jbj... how did I know you'd like the LONG thread!?!

Off to dinner. My brother turned 16 the other day.
Ohhhh... hair? This hair looks mighty lush and fingerable to me...

Quote:Oh, God. Did he? *runs to look*
Didn't Clay say 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' on that AFI greatest songs special?
