This is Clay related. When I first started working at my new job back in November, one of the workers was away for three weeks. I was warned that she had a tendancy to be blunt, raw, and liked to pick on people in a teasing way. I was told that when one of the other girls first came to work there, she made some comment about something that happened in her ancestors' history. I was a little floored, and wondered what she'd find to 'get me' with. Christmas came. We had a secret Santa thing in the office and one of the gifts I gave was a Clay CD. Word gets around, and before ya know it..most know I'm a Clay fan. I thought to myself, when this woman comes back, someone will tell her and I'm doomed. She came back. We're getting along great, which doesn't really surprise me...her humor can be like mine, except she has no line. The other day we were talking about music, and she asked me what kind I liked...then she said, "Oh yeah, that's right. You like Clay Aiiiiiiiiiiken." I laughed and agreed and told her I liked other stuff too. Then she said, "You know that's gonna be my thing with you, right?" (meaning, the thing about me she's gonna tease me mercilessly for). I told her, "Yeah, I kinda figured." She laughed.
